How training works

How a session comes together

Every session starts with a coach opening a window on their own calendar and ends after your player walks off the field. Here is each step in between, and who is doing what.

The process

From open window to finished session

Seven steps, three colors. Follow them like gates at an airport — every badge tells you whose move it is. Money moves only at the last stop.

    A coach opens a window

    Coaches publish their own availability — the sport, the park, the day and time, how long it runs, whether it is private or group, and what it costs. A window is a real block held on that coach’s calendar, not a request form sitting in an inbox.

  2. Step 2 · You

    It shows up for the families who have them

    Coaches are not listed in a public directory. You reach one by having their phone number, or by syncing your contacts to see which of the people you already know coach here. Once a coach is in your list, their open windows appear the moment they publish them — nothing you see is a placeholder.

  3. Step 3 · You

    You request the time

    Picking a window holds it for you immediately, so no other family can take it while the coach looks. No card is run and nothing goes on your tab yet. You can request more than one time across more than one coach.

  4. Step 4 · The coach

    The coach confirms it

    Every request goes to the coach, and only the coach can approve it. They confirm the time, or send back a different one if their day shifted. If a request is not answered within 24 hours, the hold releases on its own and you are free to book elsewhere — nothing was ever charged.

  5. Step 5 · Touchline

    It goes on your family tab

    Confirmed sessions sit on one running tab, unpaid. You get the park pin, the meeting spot, and a reminder the day before. Cancel outside your coach’s cancellation window and the session comes straight off the tab — there is nothing to refund, because nothing was charged.

  6. Step 6 · The coach

    Session day at the park

    You drop off and pick up — that is the whole job on your end. If a coach has to cancel, everyone on that session is emailed within fifteen minutes and it drops off the tab.

  7. Step 7 · Touchline

    It is charged once it is finished

    The coach marks the session complete — or, if they forget, it settles itself a day later — and that one session is charged on its own, not the whole tab, not a package, not a deposit taken weeks earlier. If your coach writes a note, it lands on that session, and the time slot for next week is already open.

If plans change

Each coach sets their own cancellation window, and it is shown on your session. Cancel outside it and the session leaves your tab with nothing owed. Cancel inside it, or miss the session, and that coach’s policy applies. Their window is printed on every session before you request it.

Nothing due at booking

No deposit, no package, no card charged when you request a time. Sessions go on your tab when a coach confirms, and each one is charged on its own only after it ends.
